Saturated ruby-red. Higher-pitched, more reticent aromas of crystallized raspberry, dark chocolate and mint; blossomed nicely with aeration. Superb essence-of-raspberry fruit is framed and intensified by sound acids. Very dense but beautifully delineated. Finishes long and strong, with firm but sweet tannins coating the entire palate.
