Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Perrieres has an attractive bouquet, full of energy, with lemon sorbet and yellow flower scents. The palate is tense and focused, the acidity may be a little sharp at the moment, but such is the concentration and depth on the finish that I can see this turning into a superb premier cru that should overtake the 2013 Les Referts as the two wines mature.
